    Cymbalta is a nightmare

Posted 07 August 2010 - 04:10 PM

Cymbalta Hell, indeed! I was taking Cymbalta for fibro pain and, I think, it was helping quite a bit. Three years ago my husband of 39 years died suddenly. Long story short, no insuranace, can't afford Cymbalta anymore... enter: >>>Cymbalta withdrawal Hell<<<. I'd take it again in a minute if I thought I could come up with the $140/month to pay for it. I too am a kind, peaseable woman of 60 who can barely control outrageous thoughts & desires. Dizzieness, nausea, terrible muscle aches, brain zaps, vision tremmors, anger, crying jags, etc. It's been 2 weeks since I quit cold turkey and I'm afraid I may not live long enough to be "normal" again.

Lil' ol lady, and Lynda, I feel for you. I've seen a lot of folks with fibro, and it galls me to know how many healthcare professionals write off fibro patients as drug seekers. May Cymbalta Hell resolve quickly for you.
