    Stopped Cymbalta cold turkey

The first two nights were full of nightmares, and I always woke before the plane I was in hit the building or I drove headon into an 18-wheeler, or whatever. What woke me was the screaming. I'd fall back asleep to have another nightmare. This was so frustrating after lying there for 3 or 4 hours trying to get to sleep in the first place. Now (six days in) I still have trouble getting to sleep and I wake after each dream.

Jeannette, I hope to hear you've been resupplied soon. I'm lucky right now to have some open time to deal with these symptoms. Best wishes to you. The symptoms sound awful, like I felt before initially going on an SSRI. I had the sense as if, perhaps, a boiler in the next room was in the process of exploding- like there was a horrible emergency I needed to address and I was going to die in seconds. For DAYS. Please be feeling better.

Here is a new one---I had a vivid nightmare that woke me out of a sound sleep. When I was awake--i realized I had wet myself from the severe reality of the dream!

Anyone else have this happen? My doc took me off 30 mg last Monday...now I feel the same old symptoms reported by others...vertigo, nauseau, alternating constipation/diarhea, brain/body shocks.....

I have done this as well. My wife rolled over and found the bed wet. I didn't even know I had done it. I have had the nightmare (never did before) and I've hit her and kicked her because of the nightmares.

I could kick and punch the DR. for putting me on this stuff and today I find this web site and see how hard it is to get off of theblashed rubbish.

I think Lilly kept the practitioners uninformed on purpose. They likely had no idea we'd end up like this... perhaps a few did, but I want to believe most physicians and NPs have our interests at heart when all the crap is cleared away. :(
They are hit with the heaviest marketing schemes money can buy, and we also have to fend off TV ads in the private sector.
But I think we all want to figuratively smack them for being so accepting of the system.

It's not wetting myself, I'm actually having multiple nocturnal emissions NIGHTLY! The good ol' teenage "wet dream". It happens, I'll wake up, change, and then 3 or 4 hours later, it's the same thing.

I'm in my 30s, imagine my surprise, shock and personal embarrassment.

Vivid, terrifying nightmares, along with equally vivid sexual dreams.
