I am taking cymbalta and I am experiencing Pin & needles sensations all over my body. They are constant and they really scare me. I would like to know if pin & needles could be a side effect of the medication??????? -

Hello I´ve taken cymbalta for 6 years for depression. I gained a lot of weight which I was able to control the last 2 years.
2 days ago I started experiencing electricity and sharp pains in my legs and feet. I am kind of worried, because it resembles the symptoms of neuropathy.
For those who have taken this medication for neuropathy, could you describe your symptoms? and how cymbalta help you to alleviate them???? -

I want to know what alternatives do I have to Cymbalta. Are there any safe antidepressants in the market?. Has anyone tried another antidepressant who worked well and didn´t have the side and withdrawal effects I am having with this one?. If some people do really need an antidepressant for the rest of their life which antidepressant offer the least side and long term effects? or are they all the same???? I want to hear your experiences, efficacy, side and withdrawal effects of other antidepressants you have taken.
One of the side effects that bothered me the most was the weight gain. -
More Symptoms

I am having these symptoms: severe fatigue, flu like symptoms, soar throat, constipation, feel like the food gets stuck between the esophagus and stomach. The flu like symptoms are very annoying. Are you getting these symptoms?
What can I do/take to diminish my flu like symptoms? Since it is not the real flu, I guess flu medicines do not help -

I went to the doctor and he found I have gastritis. Could this be from the medicine?
