So I just found out my insurance rate is increasing substantially starting January 1st. With the economy being so strong and all, I can understand the need to increase insurance rates at this time : )
So I'm on 30mg and looking to get off. I probably have about 50 days worth of Cymbalta to get off.
I understand there are 250 pellets in each 30mg capsule. I tried looking on the site, but wondering if anyone has a specific path I can follow to ween off 30mg of Cymbalta in the next couple months? Like how many pellets should I remove from each capsule?
brainzap,
Welcome to the form, and to hell! It does get better, it's just slow for
some of us that others
Get a refill now! It takes longer than you think to wean off this crap.
30 mg = 270 beads
20 mg = 180 beads
10 mg = 90 beads
5 mg = 45 beads
1 mg = 9 beads.
Someone did come up with a new way to do this and you can try it, but it is fast that what we have
been doing it, so this is just another option.
Do the 30 mg x 1 week then
30 mg minus 20 beads week 2
30 mg minus 40 beads week 3
30 mg minus 80 beads week 4
30 mg minus 100 beads week 5
In other words decrease by 20 beads evey week until your done.
If you continue to do this methid it is fastter, but that does not
always work best for most of us, we wait usually 2 weeks before
making another decrease.
I know you want offf this, so so all of us, and want our lives back,
but no matter how you do decide it just is a very slow process.
Prozac is very helpful with lot's of the side effects, withdrawls,
and I started that finally after nothing seemed to be getting any
better no matter what I tried to do, but we alll are different, and
I do see that some of us just have it harder than most no matter
what we do, but we still don't ever give up, and looking forward
to the clss action law suit when it happens.
Stay real close, talk about everything that's going on with you, in
as much detail that you feel comfortable in doing so.
Always here to help!
