I am slowly weaning myself off of cymbalta because I began to feel terribly worse by taking it. This is the second time I have had a medication bottom out on me(taking the medicine actually made me feel worse). When I was in a terrible amount of pain several weeks ago, I had a conversation with a natural supplements clinician whose husband also had a terrible time with cymbalta. I have been taking a combination of vitamins and supplements that have helped me tremendously so far. I am in the every other day phase and I know it will take time. I have not had the severe symptoms so far.
There are sites of success story for folks who have been able to tolerate supplements through there withdrawal process.
I am so sorry for your illness and will pray diligently for you.
God Bless you,

Great to hear that you seem to be one of the lucky ones without too many problems. Keep in mind that many have done the full supplements thing with little benefit - it may be that you were able to tolerate the drop better than some anyway.
if you do strike problems, the every second day is probably worse than cold turkey, you're actually re-introducing the drug to a body which is trying to adjust to being without it.
Better to take SOME dose every day. Most of us who've had significant withdrawal symptoms have tapered down slowly by dividing the contents of the capsules.
