Hello- I am 3 wks off of cymbalta, from which I weaned slowly, and was only on 20mg for one year. I had the zaps, dizziness, nausea, and dealt with it. My question is: Could an increase in depression be a withdrawal symptom, as well as panic? Yes, I had them before, as well as while on it, but not like this. Anybody else have emotional sym, ptoms, and can they increase with time? thats really what concxerns me, why is it getting worse? I don't want to go back on it. I am also on .25 mini dose of klonopin at night. thanks, susan

Yes, things can be worse for a bit - definitely can be withdrawal. It's pointless though, coming off a drug you're taking for panic attacks without dealing with the underlying issues. The drugs are not a cure, just a mask which enable you to deal with the issues so that you CAN come off them.
