I've been off for close to a month. With the help of prozac and Xanax. My mood is fine but the brain zaps are killing me. right behind my right ear. Some say 50-60 days. Read Doobs Diary.
Best of luck

I quit taking 60mg Cymbalta after one month for various reasons, mostly because I don't really like the idea of being medicated, and I somewhat decided that my anxiety isn't bad enough to warrant daily medication.

Anyway, I am on day five off of the stuff and I am really feeling the withdrawal symptoms. Headaches, bad nausea, dizziness, "brain zaps," confusion, etc, etc. How long will this go on? Should it be out of my system fairly quickly since I was only on it for 1 month???

Thanks

Ryan

Hi Ryan - I'm wondering how you are doing now that it's been a few weeks since your post. I too took the drug for only 1 month and am experiencing absolutely debilitating withdrawals and wondering how long they are going to persist. Please tell me some good news...
