Hello All,
I am new to this website but, have been reading a lot of everybodys comments and feel quite the same. I had to go down on the Cymbalta in a matter of days. From 60mg to 30mg. Because of this med. causing liver enzymes to raise... Not good. So I had no other option. Boy, I knew it would be bad but, not this bad or this long. Seems to be only worse, not better. This is my third week on 30 mg. Last week I started on Effexor, but see no results yet. I feel like I am gonna go crazy or I already have. Other symptoms are: Shakiness, Blurred and double vision, brain feels messed up, more depression, more irritable, more anxiety, dizzy, (Can't even drive), room spinning, feel like I am in a Nightmare, hard to breathe, more physical pain, plus I already have Fibromyalgia. My questions are: Anything help this?? When will side affects decrease? When does the fog get more clear. Anybody else soooo dizzy or feel all weird in their brain?? Please help!!

Dear Painfullycrazy:
It took me four weeks to go from 60 to 30mg by doing small drops.
It seems that the symptoms you are having is from dropping straight from 60 to 30mg (a 50% drop)

These have been symptoms I´ve felt while weaning: blurred vision, more depression, more irritable, more anxiety, brain feels messed up, dizziness, hard to breath.
Even though I have felt dizziness it has only been moments of dizziness. I am able to drive.

Each person is different so it is hard for me to tell you how long this will last for you,

hugs
