Title pretty much says it all. I've been off of my meds now completely for 4 days. I'm happy to say that I've not had intolerable withdrawal symptoms. Just really tired and the dizziness. B complex vitamins and a sinus med is helping (think I may be getting a sinus infection too). Anyway, the most unusual thing I've noticed is that I'm constantly thirsty. Like I can't get enough to drink all day. And then in the morning, I'll wake up and my sheets are damp where I had been sweating most of the night and didnt' know it. Is this part of the withdrawal process? I mean, I realize that those could be symptoms of other things, so I wanted to see if it's withdrawal or possibly something else. Thanks!

Hi-
Nite sweats are definitely part of the withdrawl effect. My wife is currently weaning off cymbalta and is experiencing the sweats almost daily. She will be fine, and then all of a sudden be soaking wet. It happens at any time... lasts for a couple of minutes, then goes away. She does drink a lot of water, and Gatorade... this seems to help.

I wish your wife well in the weaning process. The night sweats are slowing and so is the dry mouth. I'm on day 6 as of now. Yesterday was really difficult with a skin crawling sensation, mood swings, brain zaps, the works. Yesterday was awful, but today is going much better thank goodness!

Night sweats. Day sweats. Hourly, at least. Sometimes I burst into tears at the same time (no provocation besides the frustration). Scary dreams, angry dreams, dreams of being on one of the planes that hit the Twin Towers. Hungry, thirsty AND nauseated. How can that co exist?
