During weaning I have also had anxiety, mental cloudiness, fatigue, insomnia and dizzines.
However I have been able to function, and I have also had good days in which I feel happy and calm. (I am down to 10mg)
I am not a doctor, but I wouldn´t take 5-HTP while on cymbalta, because they both work on serotonin and it could get too high. (you might consider taking 5-HTP once you are off cymbalta). You can take lemon balm tea, which brings calmness and reduces anxiety.
I also want to get off antidepressants. They have helped me in the worst moments of my life, but I feel they stop working after a period of time. I am very interested in holistic medicine. To know what to take once I am off antidepressants.
All I can say is that proper nutrition and exercise has helped me through this stage
