To try to make a difference.

I'm trying to get off of cymbalta and having a hard time. I've gone from 60 to 30mg and after the first 4 days of extreme dizziness and head buzzing, I now after about a week am losing my hair like crazy! My body is also very achy, all the time, and headahces are daily. Has anyone had symptoms like these? I've heard the dizziness and head buzzing, but losing hair? Anyone?

I tried to go of effexor and developed a huge bald spot on the back of my head. It happened over a couple of months. It is from the stress your body is in. You may want to go back on the 60mg until your symptoms subside and then reduce only 10mg at a time.

Dear Rebecca:
I lost hair volume during the five years I took cymbalta, but nothing to worry about.
But since I started weaning, the loss of hair is crazy. I wonder if the weaning causes hormonal changes in the body??. Because it is not that the hair is weak and it breaks. What is happening is that I lose hair from the root. I just hope it doesn´t get worse.

I c/t'd from 60mg in 2009. Went back on and started tapering. Spent the next 4 years trying to get off. It was very difficult. Finally stopped at 17 beads on Dec.4, 2013.

Oh my gosh! Is there nothing Cymbalta doesn't affect? It's so unbelievable

that these tiny little beads take over your whole life. Sorry, having a bad

day. Anyone know if the hair grows back when it's all said and done?

I am having a bad day too!......I think the body is wise, and should know how to get back to balance. But I do not know how long will it take the hair to grow back.
