I am SO tired since weaning from Cymbalta. I am reading that others are having trouble sleeping.

Interesting how it effects everyone differently.

Dear Zemi:
You shouldn´t take any serotonin booster while on cymbalta.
Yes, I also have insomnia at night, but then I am sleepy and tired during the day

Having pretty bad withdrawal symptoms while tapering off Cymbalta, and like many on this site, my Dr. did not warn me or even seem to have a clue about withdrawal symptoms. So I am here for support and guidance to get off this drug successfully.

I haven't had insomnia while weaning. On the contrary, I feel like I have been sleeping like a baby, but I am still extremely tired during the day most days. It's weird because I will get a burst of energy for a day or two, then back to having no energy. :(

It is scary what these drugs do to our brains and how long it takes some of us to get over the withdrawal. I have been catching myself thinking, well, maybe I should just stay on an antidepressant for the rest of my life. But then I think about all the negative side effects and it makes me determined to keep fighting through the withdrawal.
