do the research, this drug can take 6-8 months to completely be gone from your system. I have been weaning down from 120 mg for over 2 yrs to now I am at 20 mg and am going to go every other day in January til off....this has been a 4 month process and each drop I go thru flu like symptoms and I go thru bouts of sleep, 14-20 hrs. maybe 2 or 3 times until regulated. I am happy to see Cymbalta posted on Erin Brockovich site but now the FDA and Eli Lilly need to be held accountable.
Take care...

I went off cold turkey 11-8-10. I can't seem to find much about cold turkey since most wean. I was on 30 mg for 2 months, and 60 mg for the last two months, although I've been on one antidepressant or another for 12 years.

I do not want to go off one drug and then have to ween off prozac, I have been on 30 mg now for a month, from 60 mg for two years, I have been off it now for three days, and today feel crappy, light headed, naseau, etc. I am taking dramamine to try to help those symptoms, till i started reading all this stuff I never knew what was causing a weight watcher to gain wait and have rolls around her middle, wow, i cannot wait to be off this crap.
I think you'll lose weight trying to get off this crap, if you're sick for as long as I have been. Keep me up to date. I'd like to know how it's going with you.
