Hey I just joined this the other day and it's helping already. Are you having these side effects from trying to wean or just from being on it? I've had most of the same side effects from going off it. I thought I was the only one who thought this drug completely messed up my memory! I used to remember every little thing, since taking this drug everything seems to just blur together.

First off, thanks for responding! And to answer your question, I am still taking the 60 mg a day. I want to wean myself off but honestly, I'm kinda scared to. I had to wean myself off Lexapro before and i put my body through hell doing so. I sometimes wonder if I'm strong enough to go through that again. I missed a dosage last week. I ran out of medicine and my doctor was out of state, so I skipped one 60 mg dose and it was one of the scariest things I've experienced. I honestly had the sensation that I was dying. I literally thought that was going to be it for me. If that's what can and has happened to me just in one day, how much worse is it going to become? Since I'm getting married this year, my doc wants to put me back on Zoloft, but I really think I'm losing myself and would be better off without any psychiatric drugs.

BTW, I know exactly what you mean with the memory thing. I used to have the best memory out of all the people i knew. I could, like you, remeber every detail in almost every event that has ever happened in my life, but now, I find it hard to even remember what I ate last or what the sentence was I last said.

If you wouldn't mind sharing your experience, I would like to hear about it. I's very helpful to know I'm not alone out there.
