Hello everyone, I'm new to the board, I've been lurking forever but have decided to post.

Ive tried 100 mg of 5HTP to help with the withdrawal symptoms but my emotions are all over the place from rage/hatred/anger to thoughts of death. Ive even had moments where Ive laughed hysterically for no apparent reason. Why? Who knows.

My question for you is this: how can one tell the difference between withdrawal symptoms and the return of the original problem? I'm twenty-three and have been on meds since I was in my early teens (crazy I know!) so I honestly dont remember what my original problem felt like (other than moderate depression from constantly being bullied in school).

If the depression doesnt go away Im considering transcranial magnetic therapy. Prescribed medication is evil.
