I have been trying to taper off Cymbalta for a over a month. Cymbalta works great for my depression but I gained 30lbs withing 4 months.
I was on 60 mg for 9 months but went down to 30 mg, then 30mg every other day, then every third day, etc. I'm on my fifth day without Cymbaltaand cannot handle the side effects, the twitches, buzzing, weird dreams, not being able to sleep,overall feeling like an electical current is running through me.
How long will this take? If I had a time frame I could endure this. I'm also taking 450mg of Wellbutrin and not weaning off that.
Has anyone ever gone cold turkey and survived?
I saw the the post someone wrote saying to open the capsule and tapering off that way. I'm going to try that if I can't manage with the withdrawal symptoms anymore.

Cymbalta also comes in 20mg presentation. So instead of taking 30mg every other day, you could ask your doctor if you could take 20mg. Then divide capsule in 2 and take 10mg and so on.
