So for those of you counting beads...
Are you purchasing empty capsules and making your own pills or are you discarding the beads you remove?
Since there are beads, I'm assuming these are time release capsules, but haven't researched it yet. I do know that they are formulated to dissolve in a certain area od our systems where the pH level is at least 5.5. I'm guessing if you take the beads and just swallow them then you could have some issues.
Has anyone actually found information about the capsule contents?
My stomach is jacked up enough without taking any more chances!
Also, I don't want to take a stinkin year to get off this crack!
Also I really don't want to take a flippin year to get off this crack!

I always take the medication in its original capsule. I don´t want to take risks of buying different capsules and the product not getting safely were it has to get absorbed. I do discard the remaining beads. Yes, I know it´s a waste of product, but I want to make sure that the symptoms I am having are regular withdrawals and not caused by the change in capsules. I always take the product with the capsule, never without it

the capsule is just a regular gelatin capsule.

the beads itself, are what is 'time-released'. They are so dense, it takes a certain ammount of time for your stomach acids to dissolve through.

Im pretty sure time release capsules are sealed, you can't open them (almost like a tylenol pill)

Gelatin capsules are not all the same, they vary in specifications.

just count, if you see a bead that looks bigger than normal, or a 'double bead' that looks like 2 beads fused/melted together, or a really small bead... just replace it with a different one.

as long as your consistent, it doesn't matter if you do it by weight or by number.

(it's probably much harder to weight out beads, it would probably be really inconvenient - they roll everywhere)

it's better to just open the pill, put your finger over the top and tilt, the oil from your finger will make some beads 'stick' to your skin, and you can take beads out that way.

If you almost done weaning, you can just dump the whole pill out on a peice of paper, and stick beads to your finger by pressing on them.
