Hey all,

I wish I would have found this forum 11 days ago. Now I'm scared to death that after 11 days on this poison, I'm going to have to go through hell to get off. I started at 20mg for a week and just started 40mg three days ago. Can I still expect all the horrible side effects that people are talking about here?

Hi there, I'm new to this site also. I am going off of Cymbalta after being on it for years and years. It has done it's job quit well for me and I have been very impressed with it. I never knew of the withdrawal effects and had I known I may have chose not to take this medication. I suppose you need to weigh you pros and cons on the positives and the negitives of this drug and see if it's worth it for you. I am forced to go off the Cymablta due to insurance and financal matters or I would have continuted on taking my Cymbalta. I'm hoping for the best for myself and for you also. All things boil down to what do you need out this medication and how long will you be on it and is there another med that will give the same benefit without the side-effects. Talk to your doctor and be open with them. Do what is best for you and not what is convenient for your doctor.
