I tapered slowly for a year, doing very small drops, I got very close to zero although I never got to quit completely. I was feeling well the last 3 months (most of the physical symptoms were over) and then bam! I started experiencing horrible psychological and physical symptoms which I never had before the medication, and were not as severe during tapering: nausea, vomiting, severe depersonalization and derealization (that could last for hours), severe anxiety, terror, changes in temperature, sensitivity to light, severe fatigue and brain fog.

How long after you quit the medication did withdrawal symptoms appear?

Were the symptoms I had withdrawal symptoms or long term effects of the medication? (considering that I had been almost symptom free the last 3 months)?

Is it possible to be fine for 3 months and then withdrawals hitting full force?. I know lots of people would call this -relapse of original illness- but I never had these symptoms before the medication.

Did your symptoms appear gradually or they hit from one minute to the other?
