I thought after the first week of a moderate hell coming down from 60 to 30mg, I was going to be ok to take the next step. The second week...I felt better than I had in YEARS!!! But this week...has been rough and I'm not sure what it all is! I had a very emotional nite on Monday and woke up with my "usual" after-crying headache the next morning. Didn't think a whole lot about it, but did feel generally "crappy" all day Tuesday. Ironically, I had a drs follow up from the step down that afternoon. And my BP was up a bit. Now, it was "only" 140/92 that day, but for me, that's high as I generally run on the low side of normal. Wednesday, I felt even worse, only, like I was getting a cold. I went down to our little health clinic in the bldg and had them check my BP again. Still high: 142/37. After going to bed early and sleeping like a freaking rock, I woke up still feeling the same...bad. So, trudged in to work and had the nurse take the BP again: 157/98!!!! Now my head is pounding, I'm nauseous and I keep asking...is this the C withdrawal or something else. No one is willing to say it's the C b/c it's not WRITTEN IN THEIR LITTLE PILL BOOK. So, it's got to be something else. Maybe it is...but...this is not normal for me. They want me to increase exercise....but my head just pounds when I do anything that increases my pulse rate (even speaking up on a conference call nearly made me puke from the pain).
So, has anyone else had their BP increase as a result?? Or is this now something new that I get to deal with????
