Day 21:It's still a living nightmare? I have to go to work but I can't deal with people. I am irritable, want to be alone, I am sweating, I feel so down-how much longer will it take until I feel just a little bit better?

I am going cold turkey as well, but I am taking xanax, since I don't have to go to work. So far so good. It's only been 2 days, but I'm not experiencing anything but being tired from the Xanax. The one thing that might be different for me, is that the cymbalta itself was giving me HORRIBLE side effects, so maybe my body isn't going to miss it enough to make me go through the w/d I've been reading about. I've been in the hospital at least once a month for at least 6 months, but no one could figure out what was causing the problem. Since I am on opiates for serious back problems, they kept assuming I was having withdrawals and just needed more pain meds. But that made no sense, so my wife began researching the side effects of this awful, awful drug Cymbalta. How the FDA can say THIS is safe is beyond me! Insanity. And I've been on cymbalta for over 2 years, 60 mg! Now that we look back at all the weird illnesses/symptoms I have had over the 2 years we can now see it is from the Cymbalta. You might try xanax and see if that helps with your w/d symptoms. Good luck!
