4 weeks in...Went from 60 mg, to 40 mg for 2 weeks, then 20 mg for 1 week, then halved a 20 mg capsule for one week..

Today is the first day on no Cymbalta..... Have had to take dramamine every 4 hours all day.... Irritable and sick....

This is crazy!!!

Why now? Because this poison messes with signals to your brain. Trust me, I know where you are. It's so hard I know, but try to stay strong & determined to rid yourself of this. The first week or so is the hardest but there will be gradual improvements over the next few weeks.

I'm now on week 7 of being "clean" & I feel pretty normal again. I have fibromyalgia & I suffered depression which is why Cymbalta was prescribed. I do have a few aches & pains still & the odd brain zap but as far as the depression goes, it's non existent so with that I'm able to keep focused.

I have also started taking a number of natural remedies - the best I've found, particularly for the aggression, is UDO 3,6, 9. There's also lots of other natural products for pain relief. They take a while to kick in, but it's worth the wait to avoid more chemical rubbish in your system. Talk to a reputable naturopath or a natural healer for advice.

Above all, keep checking in & reading our messages of support as they are the one thing that will help more than anything else. I feel for you. Good luck

I'm on day 3 with none in my system. I went the super slow road, and I'm hoping it was slow enough. It's been months, 10mg down at a time and then 5. Achy and having brain zaps but hanging in there. Anxiety is up a little but I'm breathing through it. Hang on, everyone. Weirdly enough, the depression I was supposedly put on it for hasn't reappeared, and in fact I have feelings again! And a sex drive, thank the lord. We can do this, people. Go slow but be strong. This stuff is scary but we're better than being trapped on it.

Day 8 off Cymbalta 60mg. I quit cold turkey. I'm in a better mood, yet I still can't think straight. I commonly find myself having trouble finding the right word for situations which is VERY alarming. Especially since I'm still a young buck. I'm only 20 and I don't want to lose my brain yet haha.

Good luck to everyone. I felt I didn't want this drug in my system and it wasn't working so I decided to just quit it entirely.
