A few months ago I was googling getting off Cymbalta and ended up here. I was totally freaked out reading about all the side effects but followed the bead counting advice and weaned myself off of 60mg/day over two months, decreasing the beads over one week periods over two months.

I am officially Cymbalta free for about a week. I have been on 20mg of Prozac for the last week and plan on staying on it for a few more weeks before being off psych meds for good.

I had no side effects!

One caveat:

Since I got off Cymbalta completely I have been getting killer headaches. Maybe it just happened at the same time as the change of season but they are pretty brutal.....
