I am wondering if this is menopause or cymbalta withdrawal. As soon as I started to go off the Cymbalta, I started to have chills and sweats especially at night, so that I have to wake up and ditch the covers to cool off. My doc says this isn't cymbalta's fault, but rather a coincidental onset of menopause. As men don't do the "hot flash" thing, I was wondering if any men are having cymbalta flashes.

Every night I woke up sweating (soaking wet). Male 57 years old. Was on cymbalta 2 years. Quit cold turkey 2 weeks ago. Physical withdrawl symptoms, I'm doing ok with, the emotional, a little more difficult. I have "quit" some things in my time and this is in the top three as far difficulty.

Thank you for your post. I am happy to report that the night sweats do lessen with time. At am 7 weeks away from my cold turkey I only have them about once a week now, and not all night long. Time is a great healer. I wish you well in your readjustment to drug freeliving.
