My wife experienced the same thing...... also had an itching sensation that seemed like it was just 'under the skin' and couldn't be scratched. It seems as though the side/withdrawl effects are never ending. I can tell you this though..... it gets better.

Did your wife have pin & needles when taking the medication or during withdrawal??????. I was never able to quit the medication, I actually had to updose, and when I increase dosage I started experiencing the pin & needles. They are constant.I am also experiencing the "under the skin" itching.

I had a tingling feeling in my hands and fingers during the first two weeks when I stopped taking Cymbalta. Cymbalta can definitely cause a tingling pins and needles feeling in the extremities. I would watch your blood pressure too. I have had high blood pressure issues ever since I started going through Cymbalta withdrawal. I'm almost at 3 weeks without it now and things are getting better.

The question is: did you experience pin & needles and pricking sensations WHILE on cymbalta?????

Yes, I did but it got worse when I stopped taking Cymbalta. This feeling did not go away for me until about 3 weeks after stopping the Cymbalta.
