The first time I went off Cymbalta was an accident, it was the worst 7 days of my life. This time a year later, I realized I need to stop. Been on anti-deps for over 7 years, Cymbalta @ 60mg for 5. I call my shaking fits "tremors", where I can't stop shaking from the core of my body. Nightmares every night wake me up 2-3x a night, lots of sweating, and short breaths. I can't keep my eyes or attention on one thought for more than a moment, making the light-headedness really hard. Focusing is nearly impossible, reading takes 5x as long to re-read, process, and re-read again. Re-runs on tv are my addiction right now, as well as food. Driving is difficult and I don't wish to go many places anyways. Writing this alone has taken me about an hour, my shaking is terrible. I'm only holding on to the hope that the rest of you have shared. I can't tell if it is the demon inside me fighting to be "clean" or if I truly need these meds to be ok... decisions, decisions..
