I have been on antidepressants for 14 yrs. I'm on cymbalta currently. I recently went from 120 to 60 with not too many problems. Then I started 50's. This is day 4 using a 30 mg and a 20 mg.
I've had bad nausea and dry heaves :( Really really miserable. My Dr. says go back up to 60 for now...I BADLY want to get off this medication...how do you get past the bad withdrawal and why would 10 mg change cause such bad withdrawal?

Maybe it's your body realizing that you changed the dosage from 120. It might have to get used to the 60 before you make any more changes. Just give it time, even though it's hard. It's better than feeling awful.
