I can relate to the nausea......I had it quite a bit during my withdrawal process. I actually lost 7 pounds during my withdrawal, which lasted about 4 weeks.
I can also relate to experiencing withdrawal symptoms within hours of a missed or late dose, while I was still taking cymbalta. I've read that there is such a short half-life to this drug, and that is why the withdrawal symptoms kick in so fast.
My weaning included taking 30mg every other day for quite awhile, but then I learned that that only put me in withdrawal every other day. Wish I had known that at the time, but I hadn't found this site yet.
I also can understand being terrified about coming off this drug. I was petrified. I had tried to come off it one time before, and only made it 7 days. The second time, I was successful, but it was awful. The only thing I can really say is just to do it. I had to just take the plunge and push through. The people on this site helped tremendously. I don't think I could have done it without this site.

Lacey,
Hang in there. I am right there with you regarding the nausea and feeling like crying. We can do this! I have been taking pebbles out of the capsules and am down to 15mg. Tapering this way hasn't eliminated symptoms, but has lessened them. I see a psychiatrist on Tuesday to help get me off of this drug. I will let you know if he has any insight. Also....dramamine (I buy the generic) has helped a lot with my nausea. Let us know how you are doing.

The meclizine (generic dramamine) helped me with the nausea/dizziness quite a bit! Please don't give up! Keep coming here, keep seeking support, and trust that with God's help you can be strong and make it through this!!

Lp_sista........You CAN get through this. It's a hateful and intense withdrawal, but those here are living proof that it can be done. Hang tight, and keep posting, no matter how ugly it gets. Try to remember that it's temporary, as is everything else in life. That's one thing that can be counted on--everything is changing, all the time. That includes your withdrawal. You WILL NOT feel this way forever.
Hugs,
