I have the waking up crying jag thing too. I'm just finishing up my 1st week Cymbalta free and that seems to be going away. I'm still welling up in tears if the slightest sad thing on the tv but not as easily. I'm more sleepy than I I've been in ages. It feels like all I have to do is set down for a second and I'm nodding off. I don't usually have acne and have however noticed little breakouts on my face, mostly like tiny pimples. I haven't had anything like that in years! The zaps are much milder after going the way of Catherines Taper than they were when I tried to stop going from 30mg by skipping doses. That way caused violent , extreme side effects. The thing that has caused me the most discomfort is severe constipation. Also still tired but have been managing that by alowing myself one or two cups of coffee with 1/3 caffeine. I've been off caffeine for years due to panic attacks. The all over body pain comes and goes now and isn't as constant as when I was taking the Cymbalta. I'n some ways I can feel a glimmer of my old self that taking Cymbalta has robbed my of for years. Sucks that for all of us that time is gone and we can never get it back. and begore someone jumps on here talkng crap about us whinning and bashing Cymbalta...you bet I am and then some. We innocently ingested a drug that was suppose to improve the quality of our lives in one area or another, all we got was sicker and robbed of what quality of life we had left! You bet ,we're mad as hell and have every right to complain. So save the criticism for some place else, I for one don't want to hear it!

For the constipation check out the Help for IBS website. They sell a fiber supplement which I use, but they also have good information on which of the other fiber supplements on the market i.e. citrucel etc are good for constipation.

You may not have IBS, but if you are having gastro issues this site has a lot of useful information that can help. IBS has been shown to be related to stress, which you are probably under right now, and stress also often causes dietary habits to go the way of the chocolate bar (well for me anyway!) which will all contribute to constipation.

hope it gets better.

Thanks guzzigyrl ;) I do have IBS and tried the benifiber type thing. For whatever reason it hasn't worked for me. I broke down and took a Senacot generic, it helped some. My pain meds unfortunately seem to put my colon muscles to sleep, so there isn't any wave action going on! Then when you add the withdrawals from Cymbalta...well it's a recipe for disaster. I'm trying to be as active as I can stand as I know laying around and sleeping just makes it worse! Sometimes I just haven't any choice. I surly do go for the chocolate! I try to keep myseld very limited tho, I buy the Dove in the bag so I can control and just have 2 sm. pieces a night! I do drink Carnation Ins. Breakfast as I just don't eat right at all. When you don't go...you don't get hungry! The only one I like is chocolate...so I never thought about it compounding the problem. I guess I'll have to try another flavor and see if it makes a differance. The weekend was a nightmare and I have hopes for at least a day or two's repreve from these withdrawals. Trying not to do the "lusting for results" thing like is talked about with meditation...but it's damn hard!
