I just stumbled upon this web site while researching Cymbalta. I’ve been taking 60mg daily for several years due to generalized anxiety, moderate depression, and mild OCD. I have two adverse side effects which have caused me to think about discontinuing Cymbalta. When the temp drops below 70 or 72 degrees F, I experience extreme coldness (especially my hands and feet). This is unbearable. Secondly, the decreased libido is not helping my depression as I age :). Anyway, do these side-effects sound familiar to any of you? I aloso have begun to have increasingly frequent memory lapses (example: I intend to do something, then I forget what it was I was going to do within a few seconds). My research shows that most patients aren’t told of the possible debilitating effects of Cymbalta, but once you’re hooked, it’s pretty tough to break free.

Cymbalta really helps my depression, but......

I was on 30mg for about 4 years. I just weened off it (I think). While on it, my libido was low and i don't think I was a sharp. Coming off CYmbalta, I have had light headed feelings and been VERY tired. I feel as though I am starting to feel "normal" again. Who knew this drug would pose such issues?!! best of luck to you.
