I was on Cymbalta for 3 years on 60mg. About 5 weeks ago I dropped to 30mg and on November 5th I took my last dose of Cymbalta. I was off work for a few days so I decided if I had to suffer, I might as well suffer at home. I went through the normal symptoms, brain zaps, dizziness, etc. I took Benadryl and found that it seemed to help with most of the symptoms and after about 8 days I felt pretty good. However, for the past 5 days, I have had the worst headaches at times. They just come out of nowhere and seem to hit me worst in the afternoon and while sleeping. I am taking close to 2400mg of Motrin each day to control this pain. This is ridiculous; I am taking all of these pills just to get off of one evil little one.

I sometimes worry that this drug has permanently changed my brain chemistry and I will never feel "right" again.

I found that when I stopped taking lexpro I got the bad headaches everyday around lunch time. I know how bad they can be!

I too wonder if they will stop or if our brains are somehow changed for the worse.
