I'm new here, and I made the mistake, like many, of starting a new 'wonder drug'. I started taking cymbalta about 6 or 7 months ago, and tried different doses a few months back to try to combat against the sexual side affects. Ever since then, my experince has been gradually degrading. i went from 60 to 30 maybe a month or so ago (my memory is completely shot cuz of this stuff) then to 20, and ive been trying to go the last mile to get off this stuff. i feel like im about to lose everything important to me in my life. my GF doesnt understand that im only really crazy cuz of this crap, i cant afford to go back to my psych aanymore cuz my insurance sucks and i feel like i dont have anyone to talk to. this whole experience is unbearable, and i cant sand the feeling of osing my gf right now, i dont know if i can handle it. i dont really know what to do. :( sorry for the rant...

You are not crazy. Everything you are feeling is completely in line with the rest of us. Have you tried having your GF look up the side effects for Cybalta withdrawal? She may understand better if she sees this is not just you being histrionic.

What do you think about staying on your current dose of 20mg until the Holidays are over? This is a stressful time of year when you add in the relationship problems you are having.

Please remember you are not without hope or without support. I know it would be nice if it was coming from your girlfriend instead but maybe its better you are getting support from others in your situation. This will not last forever. It is just a necessary step in the road to you figuring out what works best for you. Please keep posting.
