I have actually found a lawyer willing to help. He has sued Eli Lilly in the past and WON. He was in the zyprexa lawsuit. HE EVEN SAID LILLY IS A BAD COMPANY!The problem is he needs someone in New York New Jersey or the Philadelphia area to get the ball rolling and we need to get as many as we can that are willing to sue. If you want to help get this going please email me at christie.harris@comcast.net

I am on day 4 of my withdrawal and I'm so damn mad that of the 4 doctors that I have seen, NOT ONE of them felt they could inform me of these possible side effects.

i was on cymbalta as of a few weeks ago. i was only on this for about 2mo but it destroyed my life. i ended up in the hospital with thoughts of suicide, very very combative. i feel like i lost my sobriety due to this drug. i became someone i didn't even know anylonger. also, friends could see a change in my personality while on this. i discontinued taking this med. around oct 12 2009 and i think i'm still going thru some withdrawls from it

Are you looking for one, or did you get one, you didn't say anything in your post.

I am a sufferer of depression and GAD. After 20 years of suffering with undiagnosed GAD (to be fair to the medical profession, it wasn't in the DSM back then) I stumbled upon Aropax following a bout of depression. Having had the therapy I badly needed at the time, I came good and did well on Aropax for 11 years. Last year I started having difficulty with sleeping and thought I was suffering the poop out effect, so I switched to Lexapro. A few months later I realised it was causing me more problems than it was solving so my GP agreed to give me a referral to a psychiatrist - so we could work out the best medicine for me. Nearly 3 weeks on Cymbalta and I've stopped already. I've had restlessness, increased insomnia (I now recognise that there is more to that), an inability to concentrate (the opposite of the real me) and nausea. I want to converse with others who are going through the same issues with medication.

What are going to sue for? Money? What about the problem of withdrawal and how it is downplayed. No small town lawyer can handle this type of case. It has to be a huge lawfirm and the media is going to play a major role. But I agree this needs us all to come together, decide what needs done, and be available to pursue. My name is Pam Ward, pamward36@hotmail.com, 513-254-6584.

Pam, I see your email and your phone # but I was not sure why you posted it. Are you on the medical side-effects of this drug or are you legal representation for people harmed by this drug. I agree, no small-town lawyer is going to be able to handle a class-action case against Eli Lilly. Let me know. I'm ready to fight the good fight. Thanks, KathyJ
