In the future want 2B off Cymbalta! The physicians are no help. Looking for understanding, support & encouragement as I know this is a difficult process. Want 2 be of help 2 others who will find this site looking for same things as I.

I began my process of weaning off this poison on Thursday Nov 7th. Dropping one bead at a time.

Even at this slow go I've had some w/d symptoms but I've dealt with them as they came. When I attempted to drop 3-5 beads per day I found myself at hells front door. Thus the very slow bead count.

Anyhow I am looking forward to the next 18 days and am hopeful that when I have NO more Cymbalta poison in my system I won't have many w/d symptoms but 'if' I do I will get thru it...

I will take whatever may come as I have no choice. I am also hopeful that my brain and body can recover from this poison but am aware if that is not to be I will make the 'best' of whatever is left.

I will be forever grateful that I found this forum. Otherwise I'd still be swallowing 60mg Cymbalta every night. But now I am getting closer and closer to the END...and without this forum and learning how to do the "bead counting" oh well we can know how that would continue.

Prayers for all on this forum seeking freedom from Cymbalta and it's hellish SE...

I have hope, determination and the will to do this and I thank y'all for helping me with encouragement along the way...

God bless

Much love

18 more days to go, just in time for spring!

Such positive attitude and I am happy for you that you are reaching the end or is it a new beginning?

Bravo, you are quite a brave one!

EquusWoman, your posts are so helpful to me!  Congratulations on making it so far!

Question for you:  When you felt like you were at "Hell's door", did you stop removing beads and stay longer at a certain bead count?  Did the symptoms get easier by doing this, enabling you to begin removing beads again?

Thank you for your help!!  Hugs.

FreeSoon, hi and welcome to this wonderful forum. Yes I tried dropping 5 beads per day and began having w/d sym from hell. Thus I would add back a bead or two. Stay there and stabilize. Thus I began dropping only one bead a day. This did help. I sm glad I could be of help to you on your journey. Please let us know how you're doing♄
