It sounds like you've got a very solid withdrawal process figured out.....and, those symptoms you mention are truly par for the course....and, given that you're two weeks into withdrawal, you're doing pretty darn well ....the bead counting really is the best way to go....I quit cold turkey and the first couple of months were hell on steroids....I'm in my 6 month off now, and definitely feeling good most days....except if I overdo on one day, guaranteed the next day will be bite me in the butt.....
I'm glad you decided to chime in and start posting.....please continue, we're rooting for you!

Welcome!
You can do this! Go slow, be patient, and come here when you need to rant, or when you need a shoulder.
I understand the jitteriness; it's an adventure, it's a little spooky, a step into the unknown. But soon you will helping others with their withdrawal.
Best wishes.

Ridding yourself of this dreadful chemical is your first & top priority to ensure a healthy bundle of joy.
You have started your journey & you will succeed , we will all give you a helping hand when you need it, so stay motivated & don't be scared.
We have all travelled this perilous road & most of us have, or are , reaching our destination ..albeit sliding in on the skin of a banana ..
The feelings you will most likely feel, are @ times overwhelming & scary , but you will need to remember one important thing , & that is ... " this is the Cymbalta " causing it ... You are not going mad , you don't have a new illness or the re-occurrence of the old one ... The CRAPALTA ( thanks Lady Nancy for this true meaning for Cymbalta ) is , in layman's terms , trying to trick you into re-instating by scaring the CRAP out of you ...
It's all the withdrawal side effects & you will need to stay strong & ride through them ..& you can sweetie.
Spend your spare time reading through the forums & topics that resonate with you & what you're going through @ that particular time.
Make sure you read the forums on " what has helped me " & the advice on supplements to take to help you .
Acupuncture is recommended & I have personally heard great reports on it's ability to help .
One baby step @ a time ...5 minutes , 1 hour , 1 day ...1 week then 1 month ...
Don't think that far ahead , just do whatever it takes by the day ...ask for help when you need it & let your love ones know what you are doing & let them read through the posts from others so they can understand ..it all helps ..
we are here for you , with all the combined experience of many years ...
:-)

Great post, Wagtail! Welcome, IWBB... You will find the most caring, helpful and knowledgeable ppl on this forum - we're so happy that you have found us. Please do not hesitate to come on here for anything - even just to rant if you need to! It is wonderful that you are bead counting as it will be the most gentle...I am a cold turkey survivor of 17 weeks and DO NOT recommend it to anyone! I wish that I had found this forum at least 2 weeks before I did, but all that is over now and I took my own trip to hell
Good luck and again, welcome!

Today we were out shopping around, my headache was really bothering me, and a strange feeling in my temple area, And then my chest started to hurt which therefore I started to feel a panic attack coming on, and I think I was just working myself up, but I did manage to calm myself down and reassure myself that I was going to be okay and this is all in my head, im sure this wont be the last panic attack ill feel coming on but hopefully I will be able to cope with the giving situation and not be afraid.
On a positive note, my husband has noticed me being alot happier and ive noticed it too, just laughing and giggling, hes nicknamed me giggle pants! also I have noticed a definite increased in my libido, and much quicker climax, which I am really enjoying this new experience! !! thanks guys for all the positive and encouraging feedback! !

You've come a long way in a relatively short time! You're one of the lucky ones, and it's great to have you come back to tell us your success!
What you're feeling currently sure sounds like the residuals of withdrawal....actually, the drug is out of your system....what you've got now are the things associated with your brain "rebooting" itself..... They'll fade with a bit more time.....
Have fun getting pregnant! :-D
