After 2 years off Cymbalta, I'm happy to report that I am now able to consistently get to sleep and stay asleep through the night without sleep-aids!

Awesome, TM, just awesome!

Today, appropriately July Fourth, Independence Day, is the first day of my 8th month off the junk....I'm nowhere consistent on the sleep...maybe one or two solid nights a week....with full dream/rem cycles, etc....

Last night was one of them.....and oh, my, what a huge difference deep, all night sleep makes in how I feel the next day!

Two years off, TM, and you're still here on the forum helping us....thank you thank you thank you!

I c/t'd from 60mg in 2009. Went back on and started tapering. Spent the next 4 years trying to get off. It was very difficult. Finally stopped at 17 beads on Dec.4, 2013.

thismoment, congratulations! It's great to know that things can still get better

two years down the line. FiveNotions, was Dec.4 your first day without Cymbalta?

That was also my first day without.

Yes I withdrew from Cymbalta 2 years ago. I weaned off over 6 weeks, which was rough. If I did it again I would wean off in not less than 6 months-- but I would probably take a year.

I am happy that things continue to improve in this post-Cymbalta world of discontinuation. Good luck to all those who are struggling with healing their brains after ingesting these neurotoxins!

Now that I have been off this poison for over 6 years, I hope to help others as they join us

I am out of "likes" again, but TM, I love your posts - they have given me the hope I need!  I feel that I will follow in your footsteps with this discontinuation.  Thank you! :)

Yes TM you went through your hell for sure. I am praying you never have to experience anything like that again. God bless you.
