Interesting article!
I wonder what it does for post menopausal women?

I think I understand why someone might post menopausal women.

i was on cymbalta or other ssri's//snri's for 18 years straight. during that time i went through menopause but never noticed until i was done and stopped having my period. honestly, no flashes no rages, no nothing. i was the envy of all my friends. only positive thing about this drug. i know it is prescribed for some women as an alternative to hormones - but i don't think that is a good idea.

I just heard of a woman prescribed Effexor (similar to C)) for menopausal hot flashes. Prescribing antidepressants for menopausal symptoms is very common. The FDA advises against it, however.
