I have been on 60mg cymbalta for 8-9 years. Lost my insurance a couple weeks ago and didn't refill my Rx. Haven't had a cymbalta for 4days and wonder if I should refill one month and try to wean? At day4, maybe I should just not refill? Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks, Cindy

That depends on how you are feeling Cindy63.

If you are starting to feel the effects then if  you can get a refill with 30mg (the pharmacist fills a prescription for 60mg with 2 30mg instead) that would help you get started. I went from 60mg to 30mg without too much trouble and then you can decide from there what you want to do.

Some tips from me are:

Make sure you drink lots of water and stay well hydrated

Keep as active as possible

A good quality Vitamin B supplement helps

Omega 3 1000mg with each meal also helps

Let us know how you are doing

Take care of you
