5 months on cymbalta, scary side effects, to get help and to return the favor if I can.

Fisherman,

Seems like the clonidine can be the culprit here. I hope for you that getting off it does not shake you too much anxiety wise.

Thinking of you, keep updating us♥

Hey fishinghat

I would imagine by this point you are getting used to not standing up too fast lol. That was one thing I remember from when my BP was so low. I haven't had that problem for a bit now as my bipolar meds have put a few pounds on me so my BP is up a bit. I hope that when summer arrives and I can again walk around the farmyard I will lose some of this.

Take care of you and be well dear friend

Thanks for asking Gail.

I have come off 1/2 of my hydroxyzine, all my atenolol and 40% of my clonidine. Each time I make a drop my blood pressure returns to 'normal' due to the rebound effect. I also get a little restless. After 2 or 3 days my restlessness subsides, I make another drop in meds and the cycle repeats. Today my bp is around 96/60, ssooo, tomorrow another drop in clonidine. The interesting thing is that as long as I have been on these meds my anxiety has spiked some, nit bad, anytime I have had to cut back. So far I have made all these cuts with no change in my anxiety. I sure can't say I am disappointed either. Maybe the Zoloft is taking care of everything. Time will tell.

What good news, FH!

Happy to hear that the anxiety has 'taken a hike' this time - wonderful! You are really making progress in those drops!

Keep up the good work - great that you are able to function normally, right? :D

Great news fishinghat

I don't know if I ever posted how well Zoloft worked for me and my anxiety, but then I couldn't stay on it for long enough to have any lasting effect. I didn't realize that you were on it now.

I am a little jumbled today as I am both excited and anxious at the same time. My PTSD dog goes to start her final training tomorrow and will be gone for 16 days. I look forward to the new freedom this will give me but typical of the anxiety worry that she will not pass.

Glad things are progressing well for you.

Take care of you and be well dear friend
