Hi everyone! I cannot believe that I will be celebrating my 2 year anniversary of starting the long journey of coming off this evil medicine! I remember the day as if it was yesterday. Thinking about it makes me nauseous at my stomach. I am so glad that I made the decision to get off of cymbalta. I did have to eventually get back on something (Zoloft) but sometimes you have no other choice. It was either Zoloft or no life.

I am finally starting to lose weight that was gained while taking Cymbalta. Ya Me!! :)  It is a very slow process but I am determined. As far as side effects, well there are still too many to list, but they are not as bad.

I am so thankful for everyone on this board that ever commented on my post and encouraged me with their uplifting words!!!

Take Care and Have a Great Day!

Debbie :) :)

5 months on cymbalta, scary side effects, to get help and to return the favor if I can.

Now that I have been off this poison for over 6 years, I hope to help others as they join us

Hi Debbie

I am glad you are doing well. That really make my day.

Any thoughts about tapering down on the Zoloft over long term?
