About 3 months ago I posted an article on how Vitamin C can be used to ease benzo withdrawal.

I went on Vitamin C until I found a comfortable dose. I have been working on increasing the rate of my withdrawal from lorazepam. Bottom line is that I was able to increase my rate of withdrawal 6 fold..  Now that doesn't break my heart.  lol

That's fabulous fishinghat.

So what dose of vitamin  C was the magic number for you?

Glad you found something to help.

Hi Lady Nancy, good to hear your 'voice' again.

Well the research suggested 1000 mg/day with some even higher doses used. I started at that level and developed light chest pain and fatigue. I backed down to 500 mg every other day and could handle that with no side effects. I then worked up my lorazepam schedule.

Long story short - 500 mg every other day.

I have no doubt that it would have been more beneficial at a higher dose if I didn't have the side effects.
