Fantastic Felecia. I am so glad it went well. Keep us posted on how things go for you. We always like to hear follow ups on the success stories.

    want to wean off completely

Posted 20 March 2016 - 05:33 PM

***new update***

well i completely weaned off of cymbalta within 2 months time with minimal side effects- after being off for 2 weeks or so, my joint pain/arthritis and extreme fatigue returned with a vengeance- so I got back on taking 30mg and it has helped sooo much- I have to say, this drug is a miracle for me- it allows me better sleep as well- I am glad I did come off of it, if just for a brief time, because it allowed me to see how beneficial this drug can be for me, and maybe others using it for pain.

It helps many Felicia, it is just a shame that it also causes so many devastating side effects in many.

Felicia, I'm not sure if you are still reading here. I am trying to wean off cymbalta due to side effects of memory problems, mental fatigue, profuse sweating and exercise intolerance. I haven't gotten any pain relief from it for my herniated disc but that is probably due to a bad mattress I should replace :-/ Do you think the pain that returned is due to withdrawal from cymbalta or did it go back to how it was before cymbalta? I took the medication for depression and suicidal ideation/PTSD so not sure if symptoms will rebound to what they were before I started on it or what will happen. I'm sticking with 30 mg/day until I graduate from school. Just wondering how things are now for you?

Thanks and good luck to you as you go forward.
