I saw my new doc yesterday. He put me on Buspar twice daily. Just wondering if anyone knew much about it. Thanks for the input.

5 months on cymbalta, scary side effects, to get help and to return the favor if I can.

Hi Raven,

I hear that buspar is real mild.

Fishinghat knows about it, surely he will read this.

PS, love your game on lyrics. Stay strong and prayers for you♄

Buspar is very weak. While it is only slightly affective against anxiety it does tend to give one a more positive attitude. I am afraid it won't make a big difference with your withdrawal. Sorry But at least it has no withdrawal.

Raven,

I was put on Imipramine when I was in the hospital last time.  I take 150 mgs at night because it can also help your sleep.  A lot of Dr's do not use it because it is an old drug, it is a tricyclic antidepressant.  It has been know to cause heart issues but I am sure that all the rest of the drugs we have taken have done some kind of damage.  I plan on not being on this as long as I was on Cymbalta which was 10 yrs.  Everyone is different though.  I really do feel your pain & I mean that.   I know how you feel it is awful but as we say on here it does get better.  If you look at my past posts you will see & everyone on here was there to help me.

Please stay strong, you will get through this!!!

Debbie

Thank you all for your comments and prayers.  I have much to consider and I need to speak with my physician. Luckily he's right upstairs.  :D
