i finally got to taking the plunge of tapering off of cymbalta after many months of stress and pushing off that "big day".
i have 12 beeds in my 60 mg pills, each of 5mg.
any particular effects i should look out for?
also, i cracked one of the beeds and too kthe meds, but i wasnt thinking about it.
is it a bad idea to crack beeds?
please let me know asap.

Hi Sol,
Never heard of anyone cracking beeds.
Takes nerves to get off this crap, right?
My thought is that taking off one beed(5mg), not cracked, should be OK. See how you feel, probably OK, and like one week or so after, another one.
As they all say, your body will tell you for sure or be quiet. Go by that. Many did well jumping straight to 30mg, so I would not worry concerning your 5mg.
