1. What does Cymbalta withdrawal tinnitus tend to sound like, or is it different for everyone?

2. Does the tinnitus occur right when getting off of Cymbalta, or can it show up later?

3. Do the tinnitus sounds stay constant, or do they change / vary? Can new sounds develop over time?

 

Still don't know what to attribute my tinnitus to. Any help with these questions is much appreciated.

This is from memory but....

 

1. There has been various descriptions of the sounds in the old posts. You might try doing a search. If I have time this evening I can do that.

 

2. It usually starts during the withdrawal and is typically one of the first symptoms to go away ( 1to 2 months) HOWEVER quite a few have the symptoms take

    1 to 2 years to fade, especially if they have a history of the problem.

 

3. Most complain about changing sounds during this period.
