As I may have posted before, it's been close to a month since I've been off C. I started feeling better emotionally this week than I have when withdrawal first started. I still get dizzy from time to time and I still get headaches. When this first started I told my job I needed to go on a short term medical leave because I groom dogs and I didn't believe it was safe for me to be handling sharp objects around living things in my state.
My family doctor is the one who prescribed this medication to me and has been filling out my medical leave papers. I have no idea what he put on them due to his lack of communication and the fact that he thinks I'm faking all of this.
My question is since I'm feeling better than I was a few weeks ago other than slight dizziness, mild anxiety, and slight insomnia (only sleeping 4 hours a night) do you all think it'd be safe enough to go to work next week?
I'm going to see my very first therapist tomorrow and I'm quite nervous because I'm afraid he won't believe anything I'm going through either and the corporate office of where I work wants me to ask him to fill out paper work too which I think is silly since it's my first time meeting with him.
I also haven't been paid in weeks because my original doctor took his good old time filling out my paper work and it has all just added extra stress to this already unpleasant situation.
Even though I'm not entirely 100% I feel like it'd be easier to just go back to work but I'm not sure if it'll set me back or not.

I was on 60 mg for almost a year

Had to go off abruptly due to medical problems and weaned for a week before completely stopping and now I'm here, confused, not knowing what the right move is and praying that this therapist tomorrow isn't going to treat me like I don't know what I'm talking about like my other doctor did.

I'm sorry for going on and on but I just wanted to hear your opinions on my situation. Thank you for listening.

Most therapists are very familiar with this issue. If not you need to find a new one. I bet she/he will be supportive.

As far as going back to work...Well I must say you have done remarkably well and I am beginning to think you will be one of those persons where the withdrawal won't drag on for months and months. Just my opinion if you can remain relatively stable for 1 week with no relapses I think you can give it a try. Work, no matter how much you like it, still carries some stress with it so you might consider half days the first week back. I can't promise anything but that is just me personal opinion for what it is worth.
