Hello everyone!

As some of you know, I have been sick for the last 2 weeks or so. Being sick and not being able to handle this stress has got me thinking about getting back on something to help me deal. In all honesty, I know that me stressing is more than likely making everything worse and making it harder for me to heal.
If when I see the dr tomorrow and my gallbladder tests are all normal, then I will know that it is me who is making me sicker than I was before.

Just in case, I want to go into my dr office informed with my possibilities. Several of you on here talk about Welbutrin. Do the majority of you recommend it over Lexapro? Does Welbutrin have better effects for us who have came off of Cymbalta? Is that why it is more recommended? What about dosage? Should I start at a low dosage? Is Welbutrin something that would be easy to come off of in the future?

I am going to do some research today about both drugs, but I would also appreciate opinions and suggestions. I want it thank each and everyone one of you for all of your support and thoughts.

I look forward to hearing for you soon.

Wendy

Having been around ADs for along time I think I can safely tell you that it is just depends on the person. For some one works better than another. No way to know ahead of time. Sorry.

Fisherman is right here.

I don't know what is the half life of Wellbutrin. And have not tried it.

Lexapro did not do anything for me but it did on others. Cymbalta drove me nuts. Zoloft did good for a while. And a low dose Prozac 10 mg does the job, tried it at all dosages and the less I take, the better I feel. Keep in mind that I have cycles that I really feel like s***, then it passes.

I would say that the longer the half life is, the easier it is to get off. I don't know if it's the same with Wellbutrin.

From what I have read it has a typical AD withdrawal.
