Does the fact I've been on such a short time make much of a difference? I just do not like the way I feel. A worker's comp doctor prescribed this drug for pain from a pinched nerve in my neck. Pain in neck, left shoulder and arm. She did not explain the drug or it's effects at all. I've only taken 7 tablets so far. I have 53 left in the bottle. I have seen the bead counting technique. I could do that. But if I'm doing the math right, I might have to go through the rest of this bottle, and most of another to get to 0. Thats 4 months. Really? Suggestions?

Hi,
I have been on 120 mgs for many years. I found it really helped my depression where others dod not. I recently have reduced to 90mgs wiht no side effects and I have had bad side effects from others.
I take my doctor's advice on this. It depends what you are taking it for as in my case I had to be taking it a few weeks for it to take effect. It helped me immensely.
So far no side effects withdrawing.
Good luck,
R

Yes, that simple. Then you forget about it as it never existed!
Even if you have a bad day or two, that is nothing compared to months of suffering withdrawal!
Fishinghat, what do you suggest for pain? I can't remember as I don't suffer from physical pain.

I agree with Gail. Het off now. Even if you had some withdrawal you could just take a few beads to take the edge off. I don't think you will have a problem. I would consider talking to your doctor about lidocaine patches. They peal off and stick to the area where the pinched nerve is. They help a lot. Mu wife had had 4 back surgeries, a new disc inserted and one fusion. She swears by them. NSAIDs are OK for short term but long term they can really screw up a liver.
