Welcome Des
Three things that have helped our members with brain zaps...
Meclizine (for dizziness)
Original Dramamine (travel sickness)
Mucinex D -a Cold and flu med.
All are over the counter meds.
The Mucinex D seems to be most effective. Be sure to get the specific product that is mentioned. For example there are varieties of Dramamine that are NOT marked "original Dramamine" and they do not work well.
BE SURE AND CHECK THAT THESE MEDS ARE COMPATABLE WITH OTHER MEDS YOU ARE TAKING.

I remember that a member took Tylenol Cold and flu and said that it took care of the brain zaps.
I realize that you didn't ask for anything else. Cold turkey may be real hard and not recommended at all. So, pardon me for saying this, or giving advice, why not do it more smoothly and try the 20 mg and see how goes from there. Keep us informed if you feel like it.

I have been realizing that since my accident in January 2017, my sinuses are worse than they have ever been. I know I hit the airbag pretty hard, and there was all kind of 'smoke' like stuff in the air afterwards. But shouldn't that only be effecting me for maybe a couple of months, not almost a year? I'm going to try the mucinex-d for the brain zaps. I hadn't heard of that.
