Found something earlier, for serotinin, dopamine, and GABA, I'm not familiar with dopamine or GABA yet, I was wondering what's your input on this.

Take a look at "and the answer to your question is..." in the Medical support section. It has detailed information on each and meds and food to help with these issues.

I checked that section in the Medical support, wow, there's a lot of details about GABA, dopamine and I think I will be careful on the supplements I had posted above.

I am going to go ahead to order Megafoods Balanced B-Complex, so far I have no problem taking Life Extensions fish oil you recommended and the chelated magnesium even though that one has soy in it. It's a start for me using supplements on limited income.

I was hoping to find something for the nerves like Nerve Renew or something to help with the tingling, burning sypmtoms - I hope this will go away at some point.

I don't know if I mentioned this before but I would recommend that you think about either Mucinex D or Sudafed PE. Many members have had good luck with those treating withdrawal symptoms. You would need to make sure thy are compatible with any current medications you are on first.

How much to take using Mucinex D? And how long to take it for and how often? I'm on 20 mgs Prozac, made it to this dosage and hopefully this will kick in to kick those symptoms out.

The most symptoms I have now is that tingling, burning, muscle weakness, some numbness, the sweating, my appetite still not quite it should be. The sleeping isn't what it should be. It's annoying and I've been feeling frustrated - I really miss the old me!

Is Mucinex D a liquid formula?

Mucinex D is a tablet and the instructions say to take 2 tablets every 12 hours.

I will give that a try, Fishinghat. Is it safe to take it every day or as needed? This might also help with some anxiety too.

Many have found it helps with the anxiety. It can NOT be taken as needed. A limit of 2 tablets every 12 hours and no sooner. It is a timed release med so the effects should last a while. Be sure it is compatible with any other meds you are taking.

You mean to take it every day????? Will it be compatible with Prozac? I tried to find it in the forums on the compatibility, details about Mucinex D and SudafedPE etc. I like to try this method and to find some relief.

Just looked for it online from CVS, if this is the right kind please let me know. It doesn't say Mucinex D, but it is 12 hour type. I live so close to CVS that I can get it there, it's limited in stock. Must be a popular item, a bit expensive but it is 68 count. I never had shopped for allergy over the counter before, I never had many allergies. This will be new to me.

Wrong one....
 Right one.... (lol)
https://www.cvs.com/...dTerm=Mucinex D

Contains:
GUAIFENESIN and
PSEUDOEPHEDRINE

List of drug interactions for Mucinex D...
https://www.drugs.co...,mucinex-d.html

You don't HAVE to take it everyday just as long as the tablets are at least 12 hours apart. If I took 2 tablets and felt good 12 hours later I would just wait for things to get bad again before taking 2 more.

Duh...I just remembered it comes in two strengths, you want the Guaifenesin (600 mg), Pseudoephedrine HCl (60 mg).

Okay, I called the pharmacy and asked them about it, they sell it behind the counter and it's $29 plus for 36 tablets. She said the plain Mucinex is okay for if you have high blood pressure.

The Mucinex D 600mg-60mg is behind the counter because it has Sudafed in it, and you will be asked to show your driver's license or ID. That's why I couldn't find it on the CVS website for pricing.

I don't know if the plain Mucinex will be helpful if I take that one instead of Mucinex D. I take lisinopril for blood pressure.

Plain Mucinex hasn't worked for people

It has to contain Phenylephrine or Pseudoephedrine.

Let me see if I can find something for you on the CS website.

Fishinghat, thank you so much for finding another alternative! I checked the drug interactions, this might help me hopefully.

Will get some tonight or tomorrow and start tomorrow - so I take it every 4 hours, the website says no more than 6 tablets in a day. So, I will have to try this in the early morning, I don't know about at night as I need to be able to sleep.

Sleeping problems is one of my biggest issues since the withdrawal symptoms happened. I would do anything to get a good night sleep. I hate the idea of taking the Klonopin, I have them in 1mg, only I have been only take it very sparingly in .25 instead of 1mg.

If it makes me jittery or heart palpitations, that's when I will have to stop on the CVS brand. I don't even drink caffeine 'cuz of the jitterness.

Sounds like a good plan.
